Puppy
The unholy love child of 70’s Power Pop, 80’s Heavy Metal and 90’s Grunge, Puppy formed in London in 2015. After the release of their debut EP that same year, the band garnered attention through their inclusion in the video game Guitar Hero Live and landed a deal with Spinefarm records who re-released the bands second EP “Vol ii” and issued their debut album “The Goat” in 2019. A heavy touring schedule followed, hitting the roads with acts like Kvelertak, Creeper and Monster Magnet, as well as festival appearances at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Download and Bloodstock to name a few. After the release of another EP (“iii”), the band returned in 2022 with their second album “Pure Evil". Released through Rude Records, the album expanded their sound further to include elements of psychedelia and downtuned stoner sludge, both colliding with Puppy’s signature ear for melody and songcraft.
