Shelter - Celebrating 30 years of Mantra Tour
Shelter are hitting the road across Europe to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic album Mantra. Released in 1993, Mantra is a milestone in “Krishna-Core” – a unique fusion of hardcore punk and the spiritual teachings of Krishna consciousness. This album not only shaped the hardcore scene but also inspired a generation searching for deeper meaning through music.
Ray Cappo, Shelter’s frontman and co-founder, describes the essence of Mantra: “The biggest illusion is to think we’re just our bodies. Mantra reminds us that we are so much more.” This message runs throughout Shelter’s work, reflecting their drive to use hardcore not just as an outlet for rebellion but as a path for personal reflection and inner growth.
Fans can expect an energetic live show packed with intensity and depth, with Shelter’s signature blend of raw power and spiritual exploration at its heart. The tour will consist of 10 shows across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and England, offering fans a unique opportunity to experience the lasting impact and message of Mantra live once again.
