It’s really happening. It’s happening all at once. It’s loud, fast, and spiritual: Youth Of Today and Shelter are going on tour together – a circle closing and exploding at the same time. Two names, one story – and now one tour: Youth Of Today and Shelter are heading to Europe.

Youth Of Today laid the foundation for the New York straight edge scene in the mid-80s: uncompromising, political, and influential. Vocalist Ray Cappo and guitarist John Porcell shaped an entire generation with albums like “Break Down The Walls” – until Cappo stopped everything in 1988, traveled to India, and realigned himself spiritually.

The return: Shelter. Hardcore meets Hare Krishna, anger turns into conviction. With changing line-ups, stylistic shifts, and the classic “Mantra,” the band evolved into a unique force. In 2025, the album celebrated its 30th anniversary.

Now both chapters are touring together: the raw energy of Youth Of Today and the melodic, spiritual approach of Shelter. Not a nostalgic show, but a piece of hardcore history – live and direct.
